DR. WILLIAM MEADOWS

Dr. Meadows earned a B.S. in Psychology with High Honors from the University of Florida.  He earned a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with specializations in Forensics and Addictions from the Florida State University.  He completed a distinguished post-doctoral fellowship training program in forensic psychology at the Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts.

Dr. Meadows has worked in a variety of inpatient facilities, including the Florida State Hospital in Chattahoochee, the Northeast Florida State Hospital in Macclenny, and Shands Hospital in Gainesville.  He has provided forensic, civil, and administrative psychological evaluations for organizations such as the Public Defender's Office, State Attorney's Office, Department of Corrections, Social Security Disability Determination Office, Private Attorneys, Human Resource Offices, EAP's, and various hospitals and corporations.  He has testified on numerous occasions as an expert witness in civil and criminal matters, including high-profile media cases.  He is qualified for death penalty cases.  His evaluations involve both adults and juveniles.  He has conducted professional training workshops and conferences throughout the State of Florida for other psychologists and psychiatrists.  He also has been appointed by the Department of Children and Families to assist in conducting Quality Assurance projects throughout the State of Florida.  He has over twenty-five years of experience in providing forensic assessment services for juveniles and adults. 

Dr. Meadows also is an adjunct faculty member at the Orange Park Medical Center where he provides forensic seminars and case presentations to postdoctoral medical and psychiatric residents.  

Dr. Meadows  has a private and comfortable office in Orange Park conveniently located near Jacksonville and I-295.
